This Privacy Policy explains how Live Awesome LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the MacroEase iPhone app and getmacroease.com (the "Service").

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and sign-in details.
• Profile and goals: details you choose to enter to set targets, such as age, height, weight, activity level, goal and diet style.
• Food logs: the meals you describe, the foods, amounts and nutrition values recorded, and edits you make.
• Voice recordings: when you tap to talk, your audio is sent to our speech-to-text provider to be transcribed. We use the text to log your meal.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active trial or subscription. Apple processes payments; we never see your card number.
• Usage and diagnostics: basic app events and error logs stored in our own database, used to keep the Service working and improve it.

How we use information

To provide the Service: transcribe and log meals, calculate your targets and totals, manage your subscription, provide support, keep the Service secure, and improve features. We do not use your information for advertising.

Service providers

• Supabase hosts your account, food logs and in-app analytics.
• Deepgram transcribes voice audio to text.
• USDA FoodData Central is our public food database. We look up foods there; we do not send it your personal information.
• Apple and RevenueCat process and manage in-app purchases and subscription status.
• Vercel hosts this website.

These providers process data only to provide their services to us.

What we don't do

• No ads and no advertising trackers.
• No third-party analytics SDKs.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Health-related information

Food logs, weight and goals can be sensitive. We use them only to provide the Service to you. MacroEase does not connect to medical records.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can export your log anytime and delete your account from within the app (Settings → Delete account), or by emailing support@getmacroease.com. Deleting your account deletes your account data from our active systems; backups roll off on a regular schedule. Canceling a subscription is done separately in your Apple ID settings.

Security

We use encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your information, or object to processing. Contact us and we'll respond as required by law.

Changes

We'll post updates here and change the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app.
